Postnatal Support

The fourth trimester or postnatal period can be a turbulent time, with navigating a whole shift in life, as well as change in identity, body image and family dynamic.

For those who have experienced a perinatal trauma or developed anxiety or depression at this time, it can be even more challenging.

​

Through my work as a perinatal emotional health and wellbeing practitioner, I have supported countless people and families through this season of life.

​

We can spend some time together, hearing and validating your experiences and work on your needs and goals.

​

There is no 'right' time in which this service can be used, you may have had your baby very recently or many years ago. It does not matter.

​

What this time may be used for:

  • Reflecting on your birth, perinatal experience or trauma, allowing you time and space to share your thoughts and emotions

  • Use my framework for working through perinatal experiences - Release, Reframe, Relax

  • Use of the rewind technique in reducing the impact of trauma

  • Use of mindfulness, hypnosis, meditation and solution focused questions to reduce anxiety and depression

  • Processing grief and loss and managing potential future pregnancies

  • Support for managing a physical birth injury

  • Support for feeding difficulties or emotions relating to a feeding experience

  • Creating a trauma informed plan for future pregnancy and birth should they be wanted

This list is not exhaustive and our time together can be spent in any way which you feel will be useful.

Investment: £90 per hour session

Location: Online video call or in your home if local to Hastings, East Sussex
